MariCal CaSR technology controls both blood calcium levels as well as calcium reabsorption from bone and the G.I tract that provide the fundamental basis for both milk production in cattle as well as egg shell production in chickens. This CaSR technology application could take the form of a transitional diet for dairy cows - addressing the sensitive nutritional and blood calcium demands to prevent clinical and subclinical hypocalcemia, ‘milk fever’.
